RELAN (District of French-speaking Canada) – Second Appointment as Visitor

Brother Superior General, Robert Schieler, has appointed for the second time Brother Florent Gaudreault as Visitor for the District of French-speaking Canada, effective from May 15, 2022 to May 14, 2025. The first appointment took place in 2016.

Florent took the habit in 1965, made his first vows in 1966, and perpetual vows were ratified in 1978.

French-speaking Canada currently has 6 communities. There are 45 Brothers with an average age of 85. In addition, there are 3 pastoral works benefiting 350 children (not pupils as there are no schools in this District), in which 22 Associates (10 men and 12 women) and 5 Brothers are involved.
