Brazil-Chile District
During three days of Encounter, about 630 Lasallian students gathered together.
This District encounter of young Lasallians began on October 12, 2019 at Colegio La Salle Aguas Claras, DF. The event ended on October 14, 2019 and has gathered students who participate in Youth Groups linked to the Lasallian Pastoral Ministry.
During three days about 630 Lasallian Students, among them 20 from Chile, accompanied by the Pastoral Coordinators, celebrated the trajectory of the Pastoral Youth Groups of the Educational Communities, as well as the Lasallian Jubilee Year, in memory of the 300 years of the death of our Holy Founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle. Beyond this, the encounter also had the objective of integrating and valuing the trajectory of the groups of young people and youth leaders and reflecting on the theme “One Heart, One Commitment, One Life”.
“The event is a point of arrival of the trajectory of our Educational Communities together with the young people, and, although not all the young people involved in Pastoral Ministry could participate, we have involved all of them in the preparation activities”, pointed out Brother Olavo José Dalvit, Visitor of the La Salle District of Brazil-Chile.
Among the activities carried out, the young people participated in talks and formative workshops, Masses, theatre, gimkana and cultural presentation.
