A Lasallian Formation Day
June the 18th, 2020, saw the first direct broadcast of the Lasallian Formation Days, and it had for its theme the gospel itinery of De La Salle. It was put out via the La Salle Network Youtube, and more than 500 Lasallians tuned into it.
The Lasallian Formation Days were initiated in January, and they have taken place in various regions. However, in these times of pandemic, such local activities have been suspended. The aim is to unite the Lasallian community through experiences of association and mission, and direct broadcasting was seen as a way of continuing the formation programme by means of a reflection on the experience of De La Salle.
The material for the topic which was covered in the course of the session was produced by the Novitiate of Porto Alegre/RS. It was presented by Brother Edgar Nicodem, Director of the La Salle Community, with the collaboration of the Brothers Novices Diego Ariel Álvarez, Gabriel Fernandes and Rodrigo dos Santos.
